Cuewake

Leave context-aware notes, checklists, and reminders in the Mac apps and pages where you need them.

Cuewake is a context-aware notes and reminders app for macOS. It lets you attach a note, checklist, link, or file to the app, webpage, or file you are working with, so you can find that cue when you return. Rather than collecting everything in a separate notes workspace, it keeps small follow-ups connected to where they matter.

Capture thoughts without losing your place

  • Context-linked cues: Associate notes, checklists, links, and files with apps, windows, webpages, and Finder items. Cuewake can also recognize individual Framer projects and Finder folders.
  • Notch capture: Save a thought from the notch interface, automatically prepare a link cue after copying a URL, or drag files in from Finder.
  • Searchable dashboard: Find saved cues by searching and filtering their type or status, including Waiting, Later, and Done.

Return at the right time

Cuewake supports reminders written in everyday language, such as "tomorrow at 9" or "in two hours." Timed reminders can appear through the notch even before you revisit the original context. Optional webpage capture hints and locally generated typing suggestions help with quick notes, while reusable checklists cover repeated steps.

Offline use and requirements

Cue content is stored locally, with no account or cloud sync required. Day-to-day cue management works offline, although license activation and update checks can contact external services. Returning to an exact page or file still depends on that resource being available.

Cuewake requires macOS 14 or later and Apple silicon; Intel Macs are not supported. It is sold as a one-time purchase, with licenses for one, two, or three Macs and updates included for the product's lifetime.
